Dear Mama, You’re Doing Better Than You Think

An Open Letter to all the Moms who are Trying!

To every mom reading this—whether you’re working, staying home, rebuilding your career, or just trying not to lose your mind—this is for you.

You are not failing!

You are doing your best in a season that demands more than anyone admits.

No one may see you.
See the late-night emails, the endless snacks, the chores that magically get done because nobody else does them.

See the days when you laugh so you won’t cry, and the moments you sit down for two seconds before someone calls, “Mama!”

And somehow, day after day, you show up again.

To the Working Mom

You are not “less present.” You’re providing. You’re growing. You’re showing your kids that strength can look like a laptop in one hand and love in the other.

One day, your kid will say, “My mom worked hard—and she loved us fiercely.”
That’s what stays with them.

To the Mom Who Paused Her Career

You are a hero!

You didn’t lose yourself.
You didn’t downgrade.
You didn’t get left behind.

You simply redirected your power.

Raising kids is crisis management, logistics, budgeting, emotional labor, and customer service—with no sick leave and no applause. But it still counts. You still count, and what you are doing is far far harder than any corporation can demand.

Surviving Motherhood Without Help

Here’s the honest version for you moms, with no yaya's, no budget for maids or nannies — this has no filters, no expectations.

Lower the bar. Fed and safe is enough.
Create rhythms, not strict schedules—your sanity matters too.
Screens are tools. If a cartoon gives you ten minutes of peace, use it. Guilt-free.
Laugh when you can. Sometimes the chaos is so ridiculous it’s hilarious.
Let the mess pile up, let the chaos reign, its ok!
Talk to your husband. You’re both tired, but you’re still one team.
Do one small thing just for you—coffee, music, a short walk, rant, bash. You still exist beyond motherhood.

Be Encoraged that this Season Won’t Last Forever

It's much faster than you thought...

One day they’ll tie their own shoes.
One day you’ll finish a meal while it’s still warm.
One day you’ll wonder, “How did I survive that stage?”

You will laugh, and realize...

It was because you were stronger than you thought.

From a Dad Who Sees You

Thank you, Mom
For the invisible work.
For the emotional weight you carry.
For holding the family together even when you feel like you’re falling apart.

You’re not behind.
You’re not failing.
You’re doing one of the hardest jobs in the world—and you’re doing it wonderfully. 💙
